Many thanks to JimJGilroy & Hallmark. I have had another look at my info & on the 1851 UK Census my McLoughlin family had a family staying with them & they are down as :-
Bridget ASMAN age 35, Patrick ASMAN 14 & Thomas ASMAN 10. Phonetically to me it would sound a lot like the CESNAN name & even though they are down as Boarders I suspect?? that this Bridget was my Ann's sister. Ann's age is 33 & Owen McLoughlin is 30 & their children were Michael age 12, Peter age 10, Thomas 5, & Hannah age 2. The last child was Bridget born Chorley, Lancashire in 1851. By 1861 the ASMAN? family had disappeared.
