Hi Chris and CUcumber-land,

No problem hoping to go to the archives later this week.  If the Will's are on fiche I'll be able to get you copies if not I'll copy them down.

I have copies of these wills:

Thomas Cumberland   Wysall   4/11/1647
John Cumberland   Wysall   18/4/1661
Alice Cumberland   Wysall   15/3/1681

... and am busy transcribing them. (John's is an affidavit - he did not make a will). Alice's will is important as it gives us the names of her children - which there are no parish records for).

Hi Chris and CUcumber-land,

I how have copies of all the Thomas Cumberland's Wills on my memory stick so if you pm me your email address I'll send them to you.  Not sure if you will be able to read them but they are the best I can get.
The 1647 one may be the one that's hard to read and Cumbey's copy might be better.
