help needed Florrie Bitton & Herbert A B Bitton
« on: Monday 10 March 14 12:51 GMT (UK) »
hello,
I have looked on YBMD and have noted that there are 2 deaths on there that I would like help with if possible. the first is Florrie Bitton age 0 died in west sculcoates in 1904, the second is in 1906 Herbert A B Bitton again age 0 and again in west sculcoates, what I need to know is; is there a way I could find out who their parents where without getting death certificates? money is a bit tight at the moment and was wondering if there was a way .

thanks

julie

Hi Julie...If you have access to Ancestry and look at the 1911 census for your Family  it will tell you how many children born...how many still living and how many have died. Otherwise it would have to be Birth Certificates as Mother's Maiden doesn't show on FreeBMD until after 1911.

If you are local you could try to find them in the burial and cemetery records at the History Centre in Hull.  There is usually a witness or informant listed that could give you a hint.   Try the main cemetery and work out from there.  :)
