RootsChat members contact has stopped
« on: Monday 10 March 14 12:15 GMT (UK) »

rootschat has been very good in my search for family history. I was recently contacted by an unknown relative and we exchanged information about shared grandparents and I was able to provide details concerning our grandparents, but now all contact has stopped and I feel like I was just used as an information provider. Obviously some people do not want to keep in touch which is fair enough.

Hi Cheecky,

I am sorry that you have not heard from a member, do you think that they could be on holiday and maybe have not picked up on your last message ???

If you contact me personally with the users details I can always look into this for you.

Regards

Sarah :)

It happens, we have to realise that not everyone will be as "nuts" as we are on the family tree business.
Some folks just dip in and out, a passing fad maybe. I have had this happen to me many times. I help where I can, because I can, but I expect nothing back. I have been climbing my tree for almost 40 years now, and yes, I do still discover new thing's and the excitement is still there.
