There is an Angus Ross / Christina Thom marriage 1919 Lanark(shire).

Also a death for a Christina Ross(other surname Thom) 1963 Renfrew Renfrew , born c1902.

If your Angus Ross and Christina Thom had a son James Allerdice Thom Ross who are all from Renfrew - I have a connection.
