Tracing Pte.W.Gilmore Royal Ir.Fusiliers 1917

I have 2 WW1 medals awarded to Pte.W.Gilmore , Royal Irish Fusiliers and I would like to pass them to his descendants. According to his war record he was born near Garvagh and died on 22/1/1917 in a Manchester Hospital. He is buried in a Manchester cemetery. From the 1901 & 1911 censuses I have identified 5 (!!) possible W.Gilmore/Gilmour. The son of.....Thos X Martha Ann Gilmore ( Killyvalley,Garvagh) or William X Maggie Gilmore(Kurin,Garvagh) or George X Margaret Gilmour(Crevolea,Aghadowey) or William X Maggie Gilmour(Lisachrin,The Grove) or James X Maggie Gilmour(Ballynagarve,Ballyronan). I know there are a lot of Gilmores but can anyone help narrow the field.  Thanks

Could it be the Royal Inniskillings? If yes, he is mentioned on Moneydig Presbyterian Church roll of honour according to :

If not, may still be worthwhile trying to make contact with the book author who had research help from a Gilmore couple.

William Gilmore Royal Irish Fusiliers Reg#G/1814 and
William Gilmour Royal Inniskilling Fusliers Reg#19145
are one and the same his Royal Irish Fusiliers record
refers to him being formerly in the Royal Inniskilling Fusliers

He is not the son of Thomas and Martha in Kilvalley as shown in scotmum's link
and also as this William was in the RGA Reg#124923 and survived the war

Do you have his death certificate; this would give his age
but I think entry in link of:
"Gilmore, William, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, Drumeene, died. Commemorated on Moneydig Presbyterian Church roll of honour. Possibly same William as Kilrea Heroes"

   The single page of his service record also gives his address as KILLYVALLEY where he was listed as a farmer. However he was discharged in 1919.

As this old post of yours  http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=372154.0 refers to Drumeene, microbe, was the W Gilmore of Drumeene on Moneydig Presbyterian Church roll your relative? Have you already ruled him out as the W Gilmore of the medals, or do you believe he is one and the same and are hopeful of finding living descendants who also relate to you?

Thank you everyone for your prompt help. You have already eliminated one of the possibilities and given me at least one new lead.
One person has queried his death but it seems very clear. According to the Commonwealth Graves Commission he died inManchester 22/1/1917.  The details & army reg they gave fits.

As regards the possibility that he might be a relative. I have investigated that but so far cannot find the connection. But thank you for the thought.

Obtaining the actual death cert would establish his age at the very least

Yes, I would like to get a death certificate but so far I have only seen war dead records from the National Archives and they do not give age at death or date of birth. Is there some other avenue? Can you get a death certificate for a soldier in Records office in Belfast?
