Your pasties in the photograph are NOT Cornish Pasties! ;D
(It's a protected named foodstuff these days! Protected Geographical Indication)

Cornish Pasties are crimped along the edge - so the miners had a "handle" to hold, and discard!

So - looks like you have imposters?! :o

Yes, you are most probably right, we live up here in Lancashire.

This was brought up earlier too - well spotted :)

I hope you checked their family history to make sure they were proper Cornish pasties and not imposters.  ;)

Well they were found in Lancashire... ::)

Hey Seoras,

(I'd merged your other topic onto this thread, so you might see two of the same message from you now!)

Well it's all down to you challenging us to have a St Piran's day that we just had to go out and buy some pasties, photographs them, and have them for lunch :)

Seoras  - it's because I merged the new topic that you put in the Common Room onto this topic. Good to see the flag with blue skies behind it. :)

Have a wonderful pasty-filled day!

Cornwall considers itself to be separate to England! It used to have it's own parliament - the Stannary Parliament.

It is one of the six recognized Celtic nations KG, I believe you, like me. reside in one of them. Brittany, Cornwall, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Isle of Man.
