I am a little bit miffed that I didn't know it was St Piran's Day or I eould have celebrated with some pasties and clotted cream. Any excuse.  My Londoner OH hadn't heard of it either.

Cornwall considers itself to be separate to England! It used to have it's own parliament - the Stannary Parliament.

It is one of the six recognized Celtic nations KG, I believe you, like me. reside in one of them. Brittany, Cornwall, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and the Isle of Man.
