Naylor 1861 census
« on: Friday 28 February 14 21:28 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Could any one find Mary Naylor/Baines on the 1861 census. She was born in Bradford, possibly Wyke, in around 1852.
In the 71 census she was living with the White family in north Bierley as Mary Naylor and married Joseph White in 1872 in the name of Mary Naylor Baines.
Thanks
Anne.

There's a Mary Naylor b Wyke c 1854 on censuses, but she's not yours as she's still at home in 1881

Hello,

this looks like her. On her marriage she says her father is Edward Baines. In 1871 there is a Matilom/Mahlom Naylor with her who on his marriage says his father is Edward Naylor.

In 1851  2304/ 13/19

Edward and Ann and some children are with his parents John and Mary Baines. Mary is older than John.
I think that the Naylor connection may be that John Baines married Mary Naylor in 1833, so Edward was probably a Naylor by birth.
