John Jenks & Salome Pepper

I am trying to find a marriage of John Jenks & Salome Pepper about 1798.
Also the marriage of William Pepper & Anne, I feel they most likely married near her family in Keele. I had no success with a post on the Staffs board. Thought I would give it another go.

I feel that marriage is to far. The Pepper family seem to be in Keele for quite some time.
I have found another marriage but would have to look at the original.
William Pepper to Ann Davis married 18th April 1755 Halesowen, Worcestershire. Or Old Shropshire.
Do not no his occupation, the marriage will help if it is the right one.

Only one I can find on F/S;
MATHEW Jenks christened 6 April 1794, Eccleshall, Staffordshire to JOHN/ELINOR
Dont think this is him though.
JOHN Jenks same place, 8 May 1796 to JOHN/LOMEY

May I ask Alberbury how you know Salome was nee Pepper if you dont have the Marriage?

The reason I ask this is that a John JENKS Married Loma PARKER, 20 May 1793, Whitmore, Stafford

A Salome PARKER was Baptised 8 October 1773, Eccleshall, Staffs, Father THOMAS

I know she is 10 years younger than the DOB given for Salome JINKS on the 1851 Census but seems a bit of a coincidence to me.

Agreed, William Pepper to Ann Davis marriage is to late.

Salome Pepper, a bit of guess work. Nothing else comes close, and I know Eccleshall is a distance to Keele, but it is realistic. But again I could be wrong.

Following the help from Trish1120. I found this baptism from familysearch.org

John bp. 8th May 1796 Eccleshall, Staffs   John + Lomey Jenks

So another change of name, so I have Loma, Lomey and Salome. How can these different names be the same person.

I now must look for the marriage of John Jenks to Loma Parker 2oth May 1793 Whitmore

There is a Uppington in shropshire just west of Wellington and not that far from Lee brockhurst.
