It says only UK records but I looked at at least one Irish, the what ya call it Roll.
Just typing stuff to avoid the censor.

Click on the logo, works if you are already logged in to Ancestry. So log in close than use logo link.

Managed to find plenty of London records that are on ancestry this weekend and not on FindMyPast, well pleased.  Thank you ancestry.

Hi Jim

FindMyPast have the City of Westminster registers deposted at the Westminster Archives.

Ancestry has the London & Middlesex registers deposited at the London Metropolitan Archives.

That's why you may need access to both.


Check out your local library to see if they have free inhouse access to Ancestry Library Edition where you can access the London records.

unfortunately my local library has decided for the last couple of years to go with FindMyPast, so with ancestry being free over the weekend was great for me.
