FYI ;D ;D

If you are like many Australians who search their family history, you will be pleased to find a convict in the background ;D

This is the case for your James Richard SCHOLES. His great grandfather was a convict transported to Tasmania. Richard BUXTON, the father of James BUXTON, about whom I have given you some information above. Richard died in Victoria in 1869 aged 64 (#701) Richard BUXTON was an alias for his correct name Elias DYSON.

At this website you will see some interesting research.  The author holds the DC for Richard BUXTON and has much to tell ;D  It appears thoroughly documented.

James BUXTON gave his children names which related back to his father. Eli, Richard, Thomas to name some.
