Help! I do not know where to start! I am trying to trace my mother's cousin, Edward Kell Kennedy, who emigrated to Canada and then moved to Punta Gorda in Florida. Edward was born in 1916 in larne, Northern Ireland, and married Elizabeth Gordon in 1953 in Northern Ireland. He emigrated in the late 1950s/early 1960s.

Is there a possibility that Edward lived in Canada and spent some winters in Florida?  (My mum's cousin used to spend every winter in Florida. Slightly better weather in Florida.)   ;D

Do you have any other information about Punta Gorda, please?  When he may have lived there, any addresses, etc.

I have discovered that Edward moved to Canada (Toronto) in 1957 with his wife and son. He worked in the gold mines. He later moved to Florida - I do not know when - but my mother had a contact for him in an old address book which I assumed was a permanent address. I shall have to wait until I get back from my holiday and look it up and put in a post to you.
Thanks, Lisa.
