SATCHELL Edward Davis Lookup

I have Edward Davis Satchell arrival on the "Fairfield"...

I have been able to track most of the family of 4 boys and 3 girls but have hit a road block with

3rd son...

John Edward Satchell.... Baptised 18 November 1835 in Ottery St Mary Devon...

Ships records indicate he is on the ship... well at least 3 sons and a daughter come to South Australia but I can't locate anything else for John Edward Satchell..

Can anyone find him!

Is this the family?

Biographical Index of South Australia   says that Edward Davis SATCHELL was born in 1870 1790'sEDIT ::)and died 17/8/1860 at Lyndoch Valley. He arrived c. 1840 and was a farmer living at Mt Crawford.
His wife was ANN.

Yes Sue that's my Family...

My records have Edward Davis born 16 February 1805 and baptised 10 March 1805 Ottery Saint Mary Devon....

I have his father Thomas Satchell born 1776 Ottery St Mary but no death for him yet and his Mother Pheobe Goldsworthy born 1783 Branscombe Devon... again I haven't located a Death date .





Children Born in England to Edward Davis Satchell and Ann Jackson....

Thomas            B:   C. 1821 died 1905
Pheobe (Phebe) B: C. 1829 died 1916   Married John Rollins (Rowlins) Clark
William Davis    B: C 1830  died 1876 (sometimes recorded as William David)
John Edward   B: C 1835  ??????



born in Sth Aus to Edward and Ann....

Mary Ann Davis Satchell  b: 1840 died 1875  (married John Edwards)
Edward Richard Satchell   B: 1846 died 1894  (Silverton, N.S.W. and sometimes recorded as Richard)
Thirza Matilda Satchell   B: 1849  died 1853


So still searching bit n pieces for the family...

Thanks for that  I have his baptism date as 13 Nov 1835
