I would suggest that you contact Lichfield Records Office.  As you have the exact details and date for the will, you can then request a photocopy.  It will cost you £7.50 (or $ equivalent).  I've found that wills can be very rewarding

also try here at www.bmsgh.org it,s the Birmingham and midland society for genealogy and heraldry they were the folk who supplied the detail of Richards burial in july 1669 st margarets church wetton staffs , they may be able to give you more info as they do have a search facility at a modest fee .
in another site it states that the parish registers for wetton are in a very poor condition so as your looking so far back don,t be surprised if nothing can be found , I use a site for Essex parish registers and know myself how bad some of these books can be mostly from damp and rodents chewing them especially the early books written out on vellum [ sheeps skin pages ] suffer the most .
