MOD COMMENT: Just to clarify...

The generally available limited search result information found on the FREE index search from subscription sites can be TRANSCRIBED personally by Rootschatters and posted here. 

What was removed from the earlier post was a SCREEN-GRAB of the search result information from a subscription site. The subscription site holds copyright to the information in this format and as such breaches Rootschat Copyright Policy.

For info: it also breaches copyright policy to cut and paste info (complete with formatting, site specific references etc) direct from another website rather than transcribing the information yourself

There is a plaque saying ? AOC - ?TARA - 1920 on the second photograph. AOC = Army Ordnance Corps. If he was serving after 1920 his papers will still be with the MOD.

I think it is a football and it says RAOC - Royal Army Ordnance Corps - formed 1918 so the date of 1920 underneath fits.

The word in between could be a place?
