Hi I am trying to contact anyone who lived near or knows of Sandwick on Orkeney during the 1960's, I am interested in the R.A.F Balloon Station that was active there.
Best regards,
Wayland

You could try
Orkney Image Library (
http://www.orkneycommunities.co.uk/imagelibrary/
) - you'll need to post a photo to go on the main site but you could also post a query without a photo in the Guestbook section, though new content is added rather slowly at the moment.
And yes the Sandwick you want is in Orkney, not Shetland.
Hope this helps
