Looking for a Marriage Please of a Tobias Stapleton and Elizabeth Gunn...Havent found it so far in aus, Had a Child Elizabeth Stapleton born 1849 In Victoria, cant find any other children to Tobias and Elizabeth...Nor can i find a death for tobias and elizabeth (nee gun) Elizabeth Stapleton Married Henry Kay in 1867 in Collingwood Vic..Thankyou for any help on this one:)

What information is on the marriage certificate 1867 please. Elizabeth would be 17 years old, so witnesses might be close relatives.......someone might have to give permission for her to marry.

You are seeking records prior to civil registration in Victoria.  You have quoted a birth in 1849 however this is a parish record of a baptism which has been transcribed twice to the Victorian Registry
