Births, Deaths,Marriages- ITV
« on: Tuesday 04 February 14 22:10 GMT (UK) »
Anyone else watched it this evening?

We laughed and cried all the way through it, well made and an insight to the modern way of registering the events we have spent hours researching.  Very good programme.

I watched this,very interesting.
Laughed at the couple who grabbed the 2 witnesses off the street.
Felt sad for the couple who lost their little baby.

So did I, but it was also a bit sad that they didn't have anyone there to celebrate that special day. I know they were having another ceremony later, but you think they would have asked at least a couple of friends.

Well, you've just about summed-up my thoughts on the programme, Jenny!  I really enjoyed it, it captured what life is really all about. It made me smile, and it definitely made me cry, too.

What a great job a Registrar must be.

I got the impression that it was all part of the minimalist experience that they were after.  Asking friends along would have ruined it.
