Any help reading or deciphering latin on a church register would be much appreciated.
A baptism record for Dorothea/Dora Rooney is on the irishgenealagyie. website. St Agatha Dublin on 21st November 1870. Parents Thomas Rooney and Mary Purcell.
http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/reels/st_lawrence_mf_1853-1880_ba_0654.pdfIt is shown on the church register at the bottom of the page which is dark. There is a comment in the last column which, although becomes clearer as you zoom in, I can't read.
Having looked again at the phrase and seen the word 'junctis and mat...' could it be latin for parents not joined in matrimony?
Many thanks.
Rose
