There seems to be 4 families of Marven in Wickham Bishops 1911 probably all related so need more.

Many thanks for the offers of help.What an amazingly helpful bunch of people on here.Yes those Marven families are related and they go back to James born 1792 who moved to Wickham Bishops from Mayland.
I know that at least one Marven family emigrated to New Zealand,in one instance to Palmerston North on North Island.I once spotted a post, on another site,from NZ written by a descendant but was unable to get my response to "travel".Any hints or tips greatly appreciated.

So what sort of information are you actually after?
Folk are very keen to help you but there's a danger we may waste time looking up information you already have!
