I'm struggling to find information on the family of my Great Grandmother Annie Gillott nee Booth

Born 1884 in Sheffield, Died 1972 in Bakewell Derbyshire. Married Charles Harry Gillott in 1910.

This much I have confirmed but I can't find reliable data on her parents - can anyone help?

Firstly you must get a birth certificate ( if you haven't already got one) to find the names of the parents.

There are two possible Annies that I can see:
1884 (Apr.May June)  Sheffield   Ref. 9c 612
1884 (Oct.Nov.Dec.)   Sheffield   Ref. 9c  454

Unless you know her birth month you will have to send for both .

I would get the marriage certificate so that you kow her fathers name and occupation otherwise you wont know which of the birth certifcates is the right oe

This would appear to be the death record of Annie which shows her birth date of 29 May 1885

Birth Date - 29 May 1885
Date of Reg - Jun 1972
Age at Death - 87
Registration Dist - Bakewell, Derbyshire

There is a birth record of an Annie Booth, which is a possibility -

Name - Annie Booth
Date of Reg - q2 1885
Registration Dist - Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire West Riding
Vol 9c Page 338

Joseph Webb   56 (on the image Joseph has been crossed out  ???)
Sarah Webb   wife 52 b. Sheffield, Yorkshire
Joe Webb   son 24 Carter
Bertha Webb   dau 19 Polisher
Florrie Webb   dau 10
Annie Booth   granddaughter 6 b. Sheffield, Yorkshire

RG12 Piece 3794 Folio 60 Page 17, 28 Portland Street, Sheffield

As previously posted, you will need to purchase Annie's marriage certificate to ascertain the correct line.
