I am hoping that someone can date this photo for me. We think it may have been taken in late 1800's? The scarf on this ladies neck appears to go round the back..... we are not sure at all when this photo was taken

Not much to go on Margaret. Do you know the date of birth of the lady in the photo. That might help as she looks quite young, in her 20's maybe.
