Thank you so much for posting the summary of the will for Thomas Wilson of Donisthorpe, dated May 1, 1809, (probated in April 1812).
John Brooks the grandson is my 4x great grandfather, parents John Brooks snr (incidentally John Priestland alias Brooks, parents Thomas Brooks of Netherseal and Mary Priestland who never married) and Elizabeth Wilson.
I would LOVE to read this will in full but can't find it. Can you tell me where to find it, or perhaps share it with me?
Has anyone yet found a baptism for Thomas Wilson snr?
