Sorry for mentioning details about my Nan (Stanley's niece), I was unaware of the strict details here.

If anyone is interested in Stanley Ashman then feel free to message me, after further conversation with my Nan last night she confirmed what my research had already told me that Minna did marry again. I have names and dates for all of this and we have tracked this down to children that may still be alive - no idea where they are though.

Biz, I am a reporter for the Weston Mercury newspaper and have been contacted by a relative of Stanley Ashman. She has tried to call the MoD today but they don't know who she should be contacting there.
Clearly from your last post you do and I wondered if you could help me tell her who she should be calling? It would be horrible for her to think it might be her grandfather but never know because she can't find the right department to talk to.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi will do but have tried to pm you and have realised that you need to make 3 posts on here before I can do that
the contact at the MOD has asked me not to post their direct contact deatails on here so to p.m you will be the only way
so heres what I suggest
you need 2 more posts
send a post  to THIS thread saying Hello in both of them
that will allow me to p.m you
