 'Wow' your in for a real treat. Had the strong coffee to stay awake and I was not disappointed, I would even say this has been my favourite WDYTYA and I hope a more indepth programme might be made in the future

Thoroughly enjoyed last nights programme. As Looby says Jim certainly brings a lot of himself to the character of Sheldon lol.  He was a very articulate man and I loved his quip at the beginning to his mum about the good genes!!!

I also agree that I think this was one of the best USA programmes I have seen!

Just watched it! I'm so pleased that I went to such pains to find out how to watch it here in the North where we're presumably supposed to prefer rugby!

What a fantastic episode! Certainly the best US one I've watched and up there with the best of the British ones as well. Again, I won't say too much more in case there are some people still to watch it but watch it you must! Such a pleasant, well mannered, enthusiastic and rather erudite young man. And, for once, it didn't all stop with the American Civil War.

A gem!

{Looks like they're doing the same again next week in the North so I shall repeat the exercise of recording it from a southern BBC1 channel. Zooey something or other......}

Hi all-

I managed to catch Jim's episode on iplayer.  Very enjoyable and I agree with  Davsuro "Wow".  I found the Benjamin Franklin association great fun to hear about.  Any American will tell you Benjamin (one of the founding Fathers of America) is idolised so a big 'WOW' from Jim was probably well placed.

I've just checked TV listings to see when Zooey Deschanel's episode is being shown.
It's starting at 12.20 and finishing at 1am.
Honestly, I'm going to have to have some strong coffee. Or rely on BBC iPlayer.

Just watched Zooey on iplayer.  Her family story was very interesting and I found her a lot more articulate than some of the previous subjects. (Not many WOW's or huggies)

I did love the fact whenever she went to visit an expert they had always 'arranged for her to....' see or visit the next place.  That would be fantastic wouldn't it?  Wonder who is next?
