WDYTYA USA New Series Starting Tonight!

Just watched this episode on BBC iPlayer.

Very moving and intriguing episode which has left me with lots of questions (which are none of my business ).
I think the series just skims the surface sometimes and leaves out other information. Like when did Lavina Shaw marry again, why did her sister die young too. And was it just me....or was it maybe the father of Lavina who bought/ organised the plot and left instructions as to who the plot was for?

Have to say I'm not as keen on US WDYTYA (Sorry ) - it always seems so rushed and the constant  upbeat music annoys me. That said I will watch the series and look forward to Jim Parsons ( Sheldon my fav character from Big Bang Theory),

Thanks for the steer, David, just watched the episode on iplayer. I expected more weeping being from the US but Christine was fairly controlled. I thought it was so moving that she put her father's mind at rest about the effect of his own parenting.

We are lucky here to get an hour's programme, that was only 40 mins so no wonder the tale needs to be focussed on fewer ancestral lines.

I noticed that as well. I assume that, within every hour of programming, our friends in the US have to endure 20 minutes of advertising.

Just caught up on the programme. I did enjoy it even though there were a few loose ends. I noticed that on Lavinia Shaw/Applegate/Walton's death notice in the newspaper, it said that she was survived by a half brother, Victor Shaw. We didn't hear anything about him though. There is often a lot to tell in only 40 minutes so I suppose a lot has to be left out.
Looking forward to Chris O'Donnell. I like him on NCIS Los Angeles!

Yes, we have to endure the commercials as was not on PBS
