I'm sure the powers that be will eventually show it. That has happened before with programmes North of the Border. Don't even get me started on Downton Abbey which STV didn't show first time round , one because of the cost and two because apparently Scots don't like costume dramas   .
Well, no one ever asked me!! After a huge outcry,  we did eventually get to see it just before they showed series 2.

Are you on Sky or Freeview, larkspur? You couldn't give me a couple of channel numbers to try, could you? I've not found anything so far.

I'll probably end up watching it on iplayer. I came to the conclusion that it was pointless complaining to the BBC - they are collectively so arrogant that they never listen anyway.

The problem with links to Charlemagne is that depending on which history book you read you will find different links from English Royalty back to Charlemagne.  What I found surprising was that they didn't pick up Cahrlemagne's ancestors for which there are links back to the Romans, but perhaps they found a number of different ones and didn't know which to use.

Problem solved! What would I do without Rootschatters? 

Those channels are all on Sky - I never knew! Infact, I've just been watching the regional Scottish news! I thought I'd stick to the southern channels to make sure its being shown and forwarded to next Monday night on the schedules - and the Jim Parsons WDYTYA is listed, so fingers crossed!
