Hi we are new. Does anyone know or know of where we could find the Hayward Williams families from Birmingham around 1858?

A welcome to RootsChats from me too.  As gortonboy said, we need some more info to be able to assist you.
With a brief search, have found there are a number of people with the names HAYWARD WILLIAMS tacked onto their christian names, coming up on the electoral rolls in Birmingham - my findings start from 1920. 
Is HAYWARD WILLIAMS a double barrel surname?

Thank you and Hi from Australia. We are trying to establish whether Hayward Williams is the surname or why it is that every member of the family has Hayward as their middle name. We have traced back to our great great Grandfather as Thomas Hayward Williams born in 1858 in Birmingham and his father is thought to be John Hayward Williams. Thomas immigrated to Australia in 1884 and lived in Adelaide.

If he left England in 1884 then you can look for him in census records.  The 1881 is free to search on various sites and once you have that you can work backwards and find him in 1861 when, with luck, he will be with his parents.     Did he marry?    That should show his father's name and occupation.  Australian death records often give a lot of information too.
I would assume that at some point in the past a Mr Williams married a Miss Hayward and the name was used as a second name.    An interesting search.
www.freebmd.org.uk should enable you to find the birth registration in 1858.

Deaths - John Haywood Williams March quarter 1865  Birmingham 6d 161   Also John Hayward Williams age 47 in Dec 1867   Birmingham 6d 15.   That sounds more like the father.  Maybe the earlier one is a child?  There is a birth for John Hayward Williams in 1863 which would fit that scenario.
There is a possible family on the 1861 census - John, a carpenter, is born c1820 in Bridgenorth, Shropshire, Elizabeth born c1822 in Marylebone, London.  Sons Henry 12 and Thomas 2 both born Birmingham.

Williams is a common name though so you may need certificates to be sure.  Freebmd does have Thomas' birth registration and Henry's.

As he was registered as Hayward, I would think that the Howard name is perhaps a mistranscription or misheard name.

This may be him in 1861 2168/ 15/ 26

Henry Williams 12 yrs b Birmingham

this would fit with a marriage for Henry Hayward Williams born abt 1848 - marriage 1881 with father John, a Joiner.

1851 2057/ 595/7 the family are inmates in Birmingham workhouse together with Mary 1 yr old daughter.

All this is very tentative as Williams is a common name as Sillgen pointed out - also there are Haywards in Shropshire.

1847 has a marriage for John Williams, Carpenter and Elizabeth Few. His father is James, a gardener.
