look in commonwealth war grave commission site or just try normal bmd records  .

Sorry for delay in replying. Thanks to nanny jan and Trevor, what is FindMyPast please?
I am searching for a needle in a haystack....actually it is my husband's uncle who was fostered in 1923 aged 5 years. I have been unable to find his death in bmd under his birth name or foster mother's name so was thinking he was the right age to have served in WW2. I was hoping his name would jump out on forces war records site but I cannot find anyone of the right age under either surname.
