im doing reasearch on my nan BRIDGET MCILWHAM her father Daniel Mcilwham was born on the 17 sept 1901 at 19 Little Street Calton (now known as Coulters Lane) just off Abercromby Street other people who lived there were James Fitzpatrick (Shoemaker) Michael Tweedlie*** (Slater) Patrick Querney (Labourer) Hugh Mcilwham (Shoemaker) William Boyce (Machinist)
*** probably Mary Tweedlies father, Either Mary and Hugh lived in the same close or Michael was staying with them or vice versa.
His Siblings were

Daniel Mcilwham Married Elizabeth Crossan on 30th December 1921
Elizabeth Crossan was born on 21/01/1902 at 35 young street glasgow
Had a sister Annie Crossan b- 7-3-1906 at Tobago Street Glasgow d- 6-10-1932
Not known if any other siblings.
Daniel & Elizabeth had 8 children:-

Afer there marriage Daniel & Elizabeth lived at various addresses
On 11th February 1923 Bridget was born at 11 James Street Calton.
Bridget was first registered at St Marks School on 01-06-31.
She left on temporary exemption on 26-10-36 possibly due to mothers ill health & pregnancy with Elizabeth and was readmitted to the school on 07-01-37. Previously she attended St Mary Abercromby Street Calton.
In July 1940 Elizabeth Crossan died aged 38 of Rheumatic Fever in Duke Street Hospital
In 1950 Danile Mcilwham and his son Thomas bought a single room top floor fllat at 47 Delburn Street Parkhead (this street no longer exists).
In 1951? Daniel married Annie Leonard. They had 3 children:-

Daniel Mcilwham dies of a stroke in Apri 1957 aged 55 at 47 Delburn Street Parkhead ( where he was found in bed by son Thomas on a visit).
Bridget Mcilwham left Glasgow 1940? to join WAAF
Later Married James Edward Preston
Can anyone fill in any gaps or maybe have any information to add to my research please
im looking for anything on BRIDGET MCILWHAM in and around glasgow or when joined the WAAF
I have no information from when she joined till she married my grandad
