Information on inquests

In my research into my maternal line I found that my GGGrandfather died when a colliery wagon ran over him  . I found a report in the Newcastle Courant Friday 2nd April 1852 as follows:
Newcastle Courant Friday April 2nd m1852

On Wednesday, the same Coroner held an inquest in Greenhead on Thomas Blenkin who had been killed by a colliery wagon going over him. The inquest was adjourned til 5th inst. In order to have the attendance of the district mine inspector.

I've been unable to find any additional information or a follow up report in the newspaper. Can anyone point in the right direction?

 I am sure I looked up this man last year, and didn't find any further information, have you tried contacting South Shields library, they may be able to point you in the right direction, or make some  suggestion, as to where the coroners papers were kept,
