Peggs in Northants
« on: Tuesday 07 January 14 18:12 GMT (UK) »
I am very interested in finding out the distribution of people with the Pegg (Peggs, Pegge) surname in Northants, especially in the 17th and 18th centuries(or earlier). My paper trail ends in nearby Cambs in 1760.  I would really appreciate any assistance in finding Pegg families. Regards David Pegg

Hi David ...

If it's of any use, these are the PEG(G)s that appear in the Northamptonshire Marriage Index between 1700 and 1760:

Male -

PEG? - 1704 - Kettering (groom from Weekley)
PEGG - 1732 - Horton
PEGG - 1757 - Geddington

Female -

PEGG - 1713 - Aldwinckle
PEGG - 1724 - Newon-le-Willows (bride from Geddington)
PEG - 1743 - Corby
