1939 register of electors for Dublin shows
James and Mary Coffey 4 Malpas Terrace
Michael and Mary Coffey 5 Malpas Place.
These addresses can be followed up till about 1962 at Pearse St Library if any of their children reached 21 to vote they will then appear on the register up to 62/64.

If you knew their wives maiden names you could run a search for Coffey children born up to 1958 on  Irish Civil Registration Index at Family Search.org

Here are James c 1889 and Michael c 1887 in the 1901 census in Malpas Terrace
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Dublin/Merchants_Quay/Malpas_Terrace/1345386/
and here's the family in 1911 ...neither of the boys are married yet
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Dublin/Merchants_Quay__part_of_/Fumbally_s_Lane/79656/
Their father,James is a policeman, born in Kerry.

This is a possibility for the marriage of Michael
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FYNB-RZS
and maybe his death
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FTPP-35Q

Can't find any of their children but there is a Norah here
https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/F13M-SMK

Michael and James's mother was Norah and so was their sister so this could be the child of one of the boys....not much help!!!

Thanks for that information, dathai.
James was married to Mary (May) Gardner. Members of her family also show up in that area on the 1939 register.
