Hi there and a Happy New Year to all the wonderful members of Rootschat.
I'm looking for the whereabouts of brothers George and James Litt, born to John and Jane Litt (nee Renfrew). James was baptised on 19 July 1829 in St. Peters, Liverpool whereas George was born 29 October, 1829 and baptised in St. Peters on 1 Jan 1830. There was another brother, Thomas who died in infancy. I have the two remaining boys living with there mother and new stepfather, William Clampitt, in Liverpool, in the 1841 census. George appears again in 1843 as result of a prison sentence of 3 months for theft. Problem is that I can not locate either of them after this 1843 prison record. They are not with their mother on the 1851 census. I've been unable to find a marriage, death or emigration record for either brother.
Any help is very much appreciated.
To all, a very Healthy and Happy New Year.
