Hi again,

I am by no means an expert on the Gurney family, so any info is greatly appreciated. I do know a bit about my Great grandfather though and so I'll put some links etc below for anyone who may be interested.

My Great Grandfather was in the NZ Army and saw action in Galipoli, his number was 12/2718. He died in 1958 and is buried in the RSA section of Papakura Cemetery, Auckland. When I lived in Auckland I used to visit his grave every year on ANZAC day. I have attempted to attach a picture of his grave stone, but I don't know if I have done it right.

The info about your g-grandfather is very interesting.  Even though we are not part of your family R'chatters tend to be 'gene tragics'  who enjoy the research as well as being interested in the lives of others.
