Both my grandads were in the M.N. but my Jones Grandad spent all his sea life with the R.N.R. Wesson was with the Booth Line for  24 years. He commanded the latest (then in 31) edition of the Booth Fleet " The Hilary (3) And took it out from liverpool on it's maiden voyage. He was honored by the Emperor of Japan. He served on many ships in the north and china sea's. I have his whole sea record from start to finish, which i obtained from Chatham years ago and a large article from the "Journal of Commerce and Shipping Telegraph 1931.The later was given to me by my cousin a few years ago. Fantastic reading it is too :)
My other grandad Walter was Marine Engineer all i have on him are a few line of of ships he was on.Where he sailed to from Liverpool and how much he was paid. Which i found in a very large and dusty log book in the library on the albert docks.

Celia Cecil my Grandad was the father of the Cecil on the left, My Dad
Celia 1941-2010
