Have you found a mariage for Arthur and Mary?  I see on his death cert Adele is listed as the informant and Arthur is listed as divorced.

I have not found their MC. my families lack of record keeping....lol

Do you have this family on any US census records?  If so, the census records from 1900-1930 should give you an idea of when Arthur immigrated and when the couple married. 

A man born in 1879, living in the US, and not already in the military would have been required to fill out draft registration cards during WWI & WWII.  These are also available on www.familysearch.org.  Neither of these are showing up in my search, so I'm wondering if maybe a name change was involved.

There is a New Orleans passenger List  17th May 1880 Liverpool England to Louisiana New Orleans on the St Louis. Travelling are Jowel Stone aged 39 years. Lucy Stone aged 34 years. Frank Stone aged 10 years. Arthur Stone aged 5 years and Chas Stone aged 4 years.
