Howlett Family
« on: Friday 27 December 13 02:40 GMT (UK) »
Hi All,

I am new to this site, here is my question; Job Howlett b 1829 Buckinghamshire married Mary Ann Barrett b 1831 Middlesex on 25 December 1852 @ St George the Martyr Southwark. The marriage was conducted by Thomas Howlett - Curate.  Thomas Howlett b 1827 Warwickshire.  I am trying to find a family connection between Job and Thomas as it would appear to be to much of a coincidence with the same  surname.

Thank you.

It looks as if the Thomas you have born 1827 Warwickshire is with parents Thomas and Caroline in Kings Norton Worcestershire in 1841 which is where he marries in March 1/4 1850 to Francis Georgina Wright.  They are in Dudley in the 1851 census and in 1861 in St George Southwark.
So Maybe Jobs father Joseph and Thomas' father are brothers or the link could be even further back.

Forgot to say - welcome to Rootschat. ;D

Added: Job's mother is Charlotte. Job christened Wendover Bucks 31 May 1829
