In the 1891 census there is a John Cox aged 6 (abt 1885), son of John and Hope, living in St John Mickelgate, York, Yorkshire.
Is this the person you are interested in, weed?
This (and anyone born in Yorkshire c1885) could really not possibly be the person who married in Cornwall in 1975.
In the other thread you say you are looking for
Thomas William Cox with the same details (i.e. the 1975 marriage) and say he was killed in WWI, which makes even less sense!
Another son of John and Hope - Arthur - was killed in WWI.

? If so, probably best to have both threads on the Cornwall board deleted (particularly since they refer to living people who are undoubtedly entirely unrelated), and post a request on the Yorkshire board.
