Here's Henry and Elizabeth in 1851. Wish the enumerator had had better quality ink.  ::)

At Embleton - indexed as Cockram but the image shows COCHRANE
Henry I Cockram, 29, coal miner, b Northumberland, Coldrife? (Image shows the initial as 'J' rather than 'I')
Elizabeth Cockram, 38 (I think the image is actually 30), b Northumberland, Shank? Hall
John Cockram   2 Mo, b Embleton

Probably Henry in 1841 (even worse ink  :o  :D)

At Coldrife, township of Newham, Bamburgh, registration district Belford.
all born Northumberland - remembering that ages were rounded in 1841
Robert Cochrane   60, farmer
Jane Cochrane   45
Thos Cochrane   20, ag lab
Robt Cochrane   20, coal miner
Henry Cochrane   15, ag lab (I think)
Hugh Cochrane   15
Alice Cochrane   15
George Cochrane   12
Percival Cochrane   9

This is an odd address as there is a very small hamlet Coldrife, Northumberland, on Googlemap but it is 30 miles from Bamburgh and not in the Belford registration district, nor would I have thought that it would be on the same census page as residences in Bamburgh.  As the "Coldrife" word is written in the address column perhaps it is just the name of the farm.

So are we now seeking a death reg for Elizabeth COCHRANE nee ? WATSON in either the UK or Aus?  The mother's name on the sons' deaths certificates is incorrect.
