WW2 Air Cadets in Florida
« on: Friday 13 December 13 11:35 GMT (UK) »
A family member, Lionel Viggers, was a air training cadet during the second World War in Florida.  Sadly he died during training and is buried in a beautifully maintained RAF cemetery in Arkadia, Florida.  I would be very interested to hear of any information regarding the cadet training in Florida.  I have found the title of a book 'RAF Wings over Florida: Memories of World War 11 British Air Cadets' by Will Largent.  However, when I have tried to obtain the book - Amazon, Waterstones, it seems to be out of print.  Does anyone know where I could perhaps purchase a copy?  Many thanks!

It is with great difficulty I share with you that in the early hours of 07 August 2021, Maximilian passed away unexpectedly but peacefully.

With deep sadness,
