Sadly, Buffalo on Windsor Place is just a bar which opened in 2005.

Would be interested to see "Buffalo" written down in case it's a transcription error or just a bad translation from the Welsh, but can't think where it might be. And I know Cardiff well. Thinking the "Alo" bit might be Alaw as in Trealaw but can't imagine the Buff bit sorry!

But her birthplace in 1891 and 1871 is Pembroke Dock/Pembroke, not Cardiff.

I did suggest in reply #8 that her birthplace was actually Bufferland, which is in Pembroke Dock.

It occurs as a place-name in Pembroke Dock in the 1881 census.
Added: and in 1871

It definitely says Buffalo on the original 1901 image.
I suspect her husband asked where she was born, she said Bufferland and he wrote it down as Buffalo.

You can see Bufferland as a residential address on RG 10 / 5517 / 62 / 24
