uuuuummmmm

http://www.historicaldirectories.org/hd/pgnn.asp

346 rottens listed..........  that may be worth a try,  rotten luck if yours arent listed though :)

another site worth trying is London Gazette..........   where there are 642 rotten hits so u might like to  sift thru them......

sometimes sally on parishmouse has old directories  that bring up entries of a historical nature , but u need to google that ie "parishmouse rotten warwickshire' with no offence meant to folk from Warwickshire..... :) :)

the only rotten i remember in history was a punk rocker so thats of little use to u but merry xmas and welcome to rootschat

 ;D

Hello,

I have been researching the Rotton family around the world for many years. Try this: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/5886161/person/-252685619
It's your branch.

Regards
Samantha
Most of my ancestry is from the Midlands area of England. I was born in Birmingham, but a lot of my ancestors are from the Black Country. So I am a Brummy but also a Black Country wench (hence the Yahoo nickname!)
