William S Ost - Emma Barby

Im trying to find info on a Emma Jane Barby.

She married a William S Ost(1852 - 1907) Emma (1872-1901)

They had 3 children Willam Sampson ost (1898-1918), James Ost 1900-1901), and my gg grandmother Emily (later Marshall).

We have no family knowledge of her at all and I cant find much info on her at all.

The marriage was 1895 in Liverpool at St Chrysostom's in Everton and Emma died in Liverpool March qtr 1901

Maybe her name was Barbey -mistranscribed as Barley - or vice versa?

Looking at the marriage cert - her surname is clearly Barley - but her fathers surname looks like Barbey.  Lancs BMD also has it as Barbey.  I think it's the way the L is written - it can look like a B
