At Anc'y she is Ann COMISH in 1851 (if mistranscriptions are known, they really need to be mentioned).

Shown as aged 50, born Gluis.

Two other people in Cornwall are recorded as born in Gluis so it must be a pronunciation thing.

I wonder whether that year's birthplace might not be the most reliable, in that it is expressly different from where she was living.

An Ann was born in St Gluvias in 1796.
