not very much to go on without details of a location or anything on his father. I would think that almost any John Wade at that time might have had a son named John, so could be difficult to prove anything even if possible baptisms show up.
LH mentioned the best website for the city, and there isnt anthing close on there as far as i saw. If he was from county Dublin you need to know more details, as the churches dont all have records back that far
