I've heard of a Zimmer, seen some of his frames
peter
Of interest. during WW II, Czech Antonin ZIMMER was attached to the RAF. Sadly, his last frame was in 1941.

More teardrops were shed for the loss of London's
Guy ZIMMER or merchant seaman Arthur ZIMMER (1942)
It is safe to say the men of the RAF including the Polish and Czech members, and the lads of the Merchant Navy
like Arthur Zimmer saved our bacon at a great
price.
