I was born in Armley but cant remember any people going to school with me called Mace.
I do know where they lived. The cemetery they are buried in is just around the corner
from where they lived at Greenhill.
If Clifford continued to be a Postman when he came back to Leeds in later life then
he would have probably known my late Dad who also worked at the Post office in Leeds.
The main sorting and delivery office was in the centre of Leeds just off of City Square.
Some of my family are also buried in the same cemetery and I wrote to Leeds City
Councils cemetery department and they found my Gran and Grandad. If you know
his age and date of death which is September 1970 aged 72 then they will give you
the grave number if he has been buried there.
