I believe Jane Royle married Charles Bradbury in 1873(Manchester Cathedral)She left him to go with William Alford(Pat Collins Fair) and they had a daughter Annie Phillips Bradbury which they changed to Jane and Annie Alford.
Have you heard this story

Sorry he died, Charles Bradbury died in 1882.Jane Louisa Bradbury took up with William Alford(DIED 1904) but never married. They had a daughter Annie Phillips Bradbury(1889) who took the name Annie Alford and when she in turn married became Annie Ashton.(1926)
Jane Louisa Bradbury was buried on the 17th March 1927 in the Bradbury Family Vault in Ardwick Cemetary Manchester along with her husband Charles Bradbury.
