Irene M REFFELL

In FreeBMD I have found the death of an Irene M REFFELL in Maidstone, Kent age 54 in September qtr 1941. I cannot locate her in my trees. I do not know if she was nee or married REFFELL. There is nothing else for her in FreeBMD. I have googled, tried other lista and found nothing. If she was nee REFFELL I would like to know where online I can find her, and her parents' names and birth years. If she was married REFFELL I would like to know her maiden name and the first names of her REFFELL husband. Thank you for helping.

I cant see any births of an Irene Reffell about the date she would have been born.

There is this marriage, but probably a bit late and the wrong middle initial. I cant see any other marriages.

I don't think that is the same one as you are looking for, as she is still there with the family in 1946 at 15, Brightling Road, Lewisham.

I don't know if this is simply a 'red herring' but an Alexander Reffell b.Dec.1858 Tonbridge married a Lucy Maria Vinall in 1884 - she died and was buried 21/1/1908 Tunbridge Wells Cemetery as plain Lucy.

A plain Alexander Reffell (and the above appears to be the only one) married a Maud I. A. Wagstaff in Dec.1920 Malling, Kent.

There is no death or re-marriage for a Maud I. A. Reffell so is this Irene Maud?

I cannot find a birth for a Maud I. A. Wagstaff so she may have been a widow when she married Alexander in 1920 which still doesn't help us to identify her maiden name and who her first husband was - complicated, of course, by the fact if she was Maud Irene or Irene Maud!

Maud Irene A. Berry was born Jun.qtr.1889 Lincoln - she married a Francis Wagstaff Mar.1915 Grimsby, Lincs.  There are a couple of Francis Wagstaff's died during WW1 plus F. Wagstaff's.
